Advocacy Officer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about global injustices, with a focus on Palestine.
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, NGOs, and community leaders.
- Write reports, position papers, and press releases to support advocacy efforts.
- Represent SolidarityFront at events, meetings, and conferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Passion for human rights advocacy and community engagement.
Content Creator and Digital Media Specialist
Location: Remote or Malaysia-based
Type: Part-Time/Freelance
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling content (articles, videos, graphics) to promote SolidarityFront’s mission and campaigns.
- Manage social media accounts and grow the organization's online presence.
- Collaborate with the media team to document stories and events.
- Stay updated with current events and trends to ensure relevant, impactful content.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or journalism.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
- Strong storytelling skills and commitment to ethical reporting.
Volunteer Coordinator
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for SolidarityFront’s programs and events.
- Plan and execute volunteer-driven initiatives, including community outreach and fundraising events.
- Maintain a database of volunteers and ensure ongoing engagement.
- Provide support and recognition to volunteers for their contributions.
Requirements:
- Experience in volunteer management, community organizing, or event planning.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for empowering individuals to take action for justice.
